I have always been afraid of the pain of getting a tattoo. But I finally did it about a year ago. I have an eagle with a ribbon around it. And in the ribbon are my two sons names and my husbands name. It is shaded in purple. I love purple lol. I`ll tell you what, it HURT! It felt like he was burning me with a hot poker lol. But now I love my tat. I have another one now. Oh sorry, the first one is on my lower right side of my back. My second one is on my right thigh and guess what it is? Yep, a purple heart hehehe.

My first tat was to symbolise me and my husband. It's a heart with our intial's in the middle. He got a matching one, but more 'manly'! We've been married for 4 years, together for 5, and expecting our first child in December. Maybe I'll add a little addition to myself next year!

That`s so pretty. Mine is kind of plain but I like it. Maybe one day I`ll add some flowers around it or something. It was a spur of the moment thing at the time I got it.

Very nice tat. So how much does it hurt? I keep hearing conflicting stories. Some tell me it hurts like $%%$ others say aww it doesn`t that bad just a little bit. So who is telling me the truth? lol

Erasing a tattoo will cost big bucks. My bro covered his first wife's name with a bunch of flowers. Maybe that would be something for her to consider.

He should just cover this with another tat. His skin will be much damaged if he will erase this. It will look like a skin burned from fire.

My first and only tattoo is of a butterfly. It is on my lower back ( as my son calls it a tramp stamp).
I didn't think it hurt as much as I thought it would .
I really want to get another one.

Tell your cousin to search around for artists who are skilled at cover-ups. Usually it's impossible or next to it to tell there was anything else there when the artist is done. Laser removal is a bitch, cover-ups are a wiser decision. They make creams that claim to eliminate tattoos but the best they do is fade the ink. But your cousin's in luck if she wants another name tattoo in the future, they now make an ink called Infinitink that is easier to remove with lasers. See here.

I'm getting my first tattoo ever tommorow. I'm uber excited because I really want Hamtaro tattoo but I am also nervous due to my fear of needles. If I want something bad enough though [like this tattoo & lip piercing I got back in september] I'll deal with it.

I'm in the thinking about getting a tattoo stage. I'd love for my husband to draw it for me though and my son knows a wonderful artist in Prescott, WI who I'd have do it for me. I think I'd like it on the back of my right shoulder because I'm thinking it would get the least wrinkled there...LOL! I got my eyebrow pierced just before I turned 40 and now I'm about to turn 50 and the tattoo makes sense to me! Just a small one.....but it's like, something I just gotta do one of these days!!
