Angel Devil Tattoos

Last updated on November 30, 2017 By David Leave a Comment

Looking at the meanings of “good” and “evil”; we see a balance in many things around us. In our lives we want to make sure there is a level of balance. One way that many want to show this is through the art of tattooing a representation of angel devil tattoos. But, this symbol doesn’t represent balance in its meanings. After extensive research of this particular symbol it was actually interesting to find out the meanings behind the angel devil tattoos.

Angels have always been looked upon as guardians, symbols of protection, keepers of our dreams. In many religions, the angel is looked upon as a symbol of “good”. In tattooing, the Angel can be a simple design, a pair of wings with a small person, or an angel symbol that was designed by an artist. It can be as elaborate as a painting done by Van Gough or Michael Angelo. These are labor intensive and take days, week, or years to complete.

In the beginning, “Lucifer” an archangel was the first angel that was looked upon by God as an equal. But, Lucifer’s vanity and weakness became his curse. And thus, Lucifer became known as “evil” or a devil. But, in the world of tattooing, a devil has other meanings, for example the devil can be a representation of desire and symbolize an intense sexual being. Many people are drawn to the devil because of this.

The desire to feel intensely sexual will draw many people to angel devil tattoos. They want to feel powerful in their own sexuality and they want other people to be aware of this. At the same time, the wings of an angel incorporated into angel devil tattoos can give people a sense of protection and comfort.

For men the attraction to angel devil tattoos can by to symbolize strength and give off the “bad boy” image. The urge to let women know they can be both good and bad. For women angle devil tattoos can make them feel that they are sexually desired but protected at the same time.

This empowerment of balance is becoming more popular. In today’s society it is almost a necessity for everyone to feel balanced. However you interpret angel devil tattoos, it’s important to remember to have fun with it and most importantly, make it about YOU.
